The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is the ancient process by which people who are not Catholic become Catholic.
Are you a person who has never been Baptized and considering Baptism in the Catholic Church?
Are you Baptized in another Christian denomination and thinking about becoming Catholic?
Are you Baptized in the Catholic Church, but have never received other Sacraments?
The process is specifically designed for those the Church defines as adult (aged 8 and up). Those who come to OCIA are those who are not yet Baptized (catechumens) and those who are already Paptized in another Christian denomination (candidates) who wish to become a member of the Catholic Church and to receive the Sacraments of Initiation.
OCIA meets Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm in the Parish Life Center, Rooms 7-8.
