KBI is a non-profit humanitarian organization that provides meals (47,000 last year), clothing and minor medical assistance to migrant deportees at the Nogales border. This Jesuit ministry also  provides temporary shelter for women and children (380 in 2016) at its Nazareth House.  KBI is a binational effort with Nogales AZ and Nogales Sonora trying to ensure the  dignity of the migrant men, women and children, at the southern border.  Reverend Sean Carroll S.J., is the executive director of KBI and together with  the help of staff, the Missionary Sisters of the Eucharist and volunteers, the organizational is able to thrive and offer assistance to those in need.
