JPII Classic 4th Annual Basketball Game
Bring the entire family out to Hoop It Up at the JPII Classic – 4th Annual Basketball Event at 7 p.m. at Xavier College Preparatory, 4710 N. 5th St., Phoenix. Dribble on over to see The Church Fathers (Your Parish Priests) take on Our Phoenix Sons (Diocesan Seminarians). Spectators will be treated to hot dogs, an exciting game, a half-time T-shirt launch, and a post-game ice cream social.
Mom & Me: Our Bodies, Our Bond: Moms and daughters are invited to learn about the beauty of reproduction and their changing bodies in an age-appropriate, faithful setting. This seminar covers age-appropriate male and female reproductive anatomy and physiology, true masculinity and femininity, the unitive and procreative nature of marriage, age-appropriate scientific basis for Natural Family Planning, and sexual morality. Cost is $30 per family and includes “Tea Party” refreshments and handouts.

Father & Son: Male Sexuality: Father and sons (ages 10-13) are invited to join Fr. Paul Sullivan for a seminar on male sexuality and true masculinity. This seminar covers age-appropriate male/female reproductive anatomy and physiology, true masculinity and femininity, the unitive and procreative nature of marriage, and sexual morality. The Church’s beautiful teachings intertwine with the truth of science to show us the beauty of our biology. Prepare to be amazed at God’s design. Cost – $30 per family – includes refreshments & handouts.

50th Anniversary of Saint Padre Pio’s Death: Join us for Mass with Most Rev. Thomas J. Olmsted along with a blessing and dedication of a first class relic. This relic, from Saint Padre Pio’s glove will be permanently placed at St. Bernard of Clairvaux. Luncheon immediately follows. Tickets for the luncheon are $35 (Adults) and $15 (children). Tickets are available for purchase from August 11 – September 9.
